Rustic Farmhouse Chest Makeover

This chest was sitting at a yard sale that I didn't think had anything at it. I almost drove right by. I am so glad I didn't. This chest was a great find!

The top was in horrible condition, but it had great storage with the tow drawers and it still had all the original wood casters on it!

I tried sanding the top down to the original wood, but the water stains were still there. So, I painted the entire piece white and distressed it with some sand paper.

The outcome is beautiful! It is now a rustic farmhouse piece. I added hardware from Hickory Hardware (love those handles) and it really was the final touch this chest needed.
